HEEV Off Road M12 Spacer Rings for Rear Door Spare Tires

  • Product: Wheel spacer rings for rear door spare tire with M12 lugs
  • Compatible with Toyota Prado (120/150), Toyota FJ Cruiser, Nissan Patrol Y61, Mitsubishi Pajero
  • Function: Avoids spare tire touching rear door when increasing tire size
  • Material: Aluminium with black powder coating
  • Dimensions: spacer length 15 mm, inner dia 12.5 mm, outer dia 30 mm

FUNCTIONALITY

HEEV Off Road provides 4 sizes of rear door spacer rings for different wheel lug sizes. The spacer rings are aluminum bushings which are installed on the tire carrier lug bolts and as such allows you to tighten the rim at greater distance from the rear door and tire carrier. This ensures that a larger spare tire can be installed without the tires pressing against the rear door and creating an air gap between the rim and tire carrier.

INSTRUCTIONS

Unscrew the 3 lug nuts and remove the spare tire from the rear door. Place the spacers over the lug bolts on the spare tire carrier. Place the spare tire back on the carrier and tighten the lug bolts. Check if there is an air gap between the door and the tire. If not then an extra set of spacer rings can be used. For even larger tires where a double set of rings does not provide sufficient spacing it is recommended to use a steel spacer bracket.
